Remotely Onit! is seeking a new remote, business support Associate, to join Team Onit!
Our small and mighty team of remote support super-stars is comprised of support professionals from various backgrounds. One thing that we all have in common, is that we come from an employed, business operations support background; whether administrators, executive or personal assistants, office managers or customer service professionals, we share a common goal in providing support that preempts client needs. Aptly entitled, PosAbility Ambassadors (PAs), we’re Onit! in name and Onit! by nature, as we make it posAble for the business owners that we support, to focus on the work that lights them up, whilst WE focus on what lights US up - admin, operations, systems and processes - the key components that create ease for our clients.
This is your opportunity to join a passionate, collaborative team of business operations support specialists, who support one another and champion each other's success (in and out of the agency).
Key Elements & Associate Requirements
Key elements that we are seeking from Associates who work with us, are:
Experience of working in a business support capacity as an employee:
You have a background as a PA/EA/Office Manager or Administrator in the capacity of an employee, prior to becoming self-employed
Experience of self-employment:
Ideally you have worked in the online space whilst self-employed for at least 3 months (not essential).
Drive and intentionality:
You’re a self-starter and a go-getter, with the ability to think-on-your feet and anticipate the needs of your clients. An employee mindset (that relies heavily on being told what to do) will not benefit you and will potentially frustrate us all
Industry Knowledge:
You'll be a great fit if you have an interest in film, TV, documentaries and the creative industries
Initiative:
Associates who think on their feet, make suggestions and who are proactive, are super key for us
Systems & Tools:
You need to have working experience of Google products (primarily calendar and email), with a willingness to learn other tools as we go.
Core/Essential Tools:
Google Workspace: Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs // MS Outlook, Word, Excel
Secondary/Desirable Tools (or have a willingness to learn):
Airtable // Slack
Bonus Tools (e.g. nice to have, not essential):
Dubsado // Kajabi // ThriveCart // Zapier
Where your knowledge or experience in specific skills isn't extensive, a willingness to get up to speed using online resources will go a long way - it's an investment in yourself that will pay off in the long-run.

Insurances & Assurances:
All Associates engaged by Remote PosAbilities Limited - WHO ARE UK BASED/REGISTERED - must have (or be willing to secure) professional indemnity insurance (including cyber security) and be registered with the ICO for data protection. This is non-negotiable.
The Opportunity
Intended Engagement Commencement:
Ideally commencing late-May/early June 2024
Availability:
UK time zone (BST/GMT). We prioritise UK based Associates, but are open to team members in other countries. You need to be able to commit to being available during our core business hours of Monday to Thursday, 10am until 5pm (BST/GMT) and until 1pm BST/GMT on Fridays. This is not us dictating your hours (you’re self-employed, and won’t be an employee). However, this is when we are available to clients and have a service-level agreement to respond to their comms during this timeframe.
Time commitment:
3 month minimum engagement, ongoing commitment. Specific number of hours to be discussed and agreed.
Associate Rate:
Our Associate rate is commensurate with the UK industry standard and will be disclosed on receipt of expression of interest forms, ahead of the next stage of our engagement process
The Client:
We’re seeking an Associate to join the team; someone who is a fellow business support professional that lives, breathes and is fuelled by admin! Who enjoys creating ease in a schedule, to really add value to someone’s day; from researching schools, travel options or meeting room venues, arranging meetings, coordinating diaries, preempting challenges and booking couriers, this client-facing opportunity will see you making a real difference to the life of a busy husband, father of 2 young children and business owner, who is constantly juggling the demands of his film and TV company, to pitch potential commissions, meet with possible funders (globally), speak with collaborative partners and still find time to be creative.
You’ll need to be comfortable operating as a digital gate-keeper to his world, feel confident in leading a weekly 1-to-1 meeting to update him on the status of things, be able to deftly extract information that you need from him in order to move forward in meaningful ways, work autonomously (once you’ve got a good grasp on his priorities) and, get up to speed on who’s who in his industry, building your own little black book along the way.

About Us
Onit! was founded by former corporate Executive Assistant, Cydelle Stewart. Beginning as a support service under the name ONiT! PR - and affectionately called Onit! ever since - in 2011, it served Independent Entertainers and offered Admin, PR, marketing, events and communication support. Adapting over 18 years of business operations support gained in the corporate world, Cydelle was able to build a loyal client base - some of whom still engage the brand today.
In 2016, Cydelle took the decision to change direction, to work with a completely different client group. In 2019, after 10 years as a solo technical Virtual Assistant (VA), she embarked on an evolutionary journey to rebrand as Remotely Onit! and build a remote support agency that offers more than transactional administrative support.
Remotely Onit! specifically supports solo, service-based industry experts across a multitude of fields; from property investment, digital transformation and business development to social activism, life coaching and communications, with its unique framework entitled, #TheOnitWay!
Our Clients
Our clients - though diverse - have a range of needs and requirements. These typically range from traditional secretarial and general administrative support, to tech-heavy, online business expertise. The type of tasks undertaken span diary and email management, travel and project logistics, newsletter management, content updates (websites, membership platforms, etc.), client communications and client management.
In addition to remote support from the team, Cydelle personally specialises in excellence in online client experiences and business operations, providing top line strategy, road-mapping and operational infrastructure support for clients to focus on the work that lights them up, whilst making more impact, enjoying higher revenue and building a legacy. Following strategy advice and consultation, clients often then transition onto a remote retainer (or ad-hoc support on a pay as you go basis) for implementation of recommendations made. On occasion, a client may simply need assistance with a stand alone project.
